Leonard Onana, Adjunct Executive Secretary in Cameroon
Leonard Onana, adjunct executive secretary of the Protestant Council of Churches in Cameroon, talks about his work to help low-income people access health care and receive quality services.
Our Involvement
CapacityPlus’s Doris Mwarey interviewed Leonard during the Sixth Biennial Conference of the African Christian Health Associations Platform, which focused on the increasing burden of noncommunicable diseases in Africa and faith-based organizations’ response. CapacityPlus strengthens faith-based organizations’ ability to manage their human resources and provide high-quality care to underserved populations.
About This Series
CapacityPlus places health workers at the center of our efforts. We embrace the WHO’s broad definition of health workers. Our staff conducted quick, informal interviews with health workers in various countries. We invite you to hear their voices and learn what we’re doing to help them save even more lives.
