Dr. Karama Said, Executive Secretary in Uganda
Dr. Karama Said, executive secretary of the Uganda Muslim Medical Bureau in Uganda, shares what motivates him and what would help him save even more lives.
Our Involvement
CapacityPlus’s Doris Mwarey interviewed Dr. Said during a recent trip to Uganda, where she conducted a training. The Uganda Muslim Medical Bureau coordinates the work of over 60 affiliated member health institutions, and together with other faith-based medical bureaus provides a substantial amount of the country's health services. CapacityPlus strengthens faith-based organizations’ ability to manage their human resources and provide high-quality care.
About This Series
CapacityPlus places health workers at the center of our efforts. We embrace the WHO’s broad definition of health workers. Our staff conducted quick, informal interviews with health workers in various countries. We invite you to hear their voices and learn what we’re doing to help them save even more lives.
