Rahinatu is an experienced development worker with extensive leadership, management, research, and coordination skills. She has successfully managed programs in different national and international organizations such as ActionAid International, British Council Nigeria, and Voluntary Service Overseas. She has strong program management and high-level policy advocacy experience. With a passion for women’s rights, she has developed capacity in gender analysis and mainstreaming gender in program and public policy. In addition to gender equality and equity, she is very interested in HIV/AIDS, culture and diversity, child labor and child rights, and human resources for health. She resides in Abuja, Nigeria with her husband and two adorable boys.
