Deborah Murray, IntraHealth International, Deputy Director, Program Management and Administration
Deborah Murray has 25 years of program, technical, and management experience in international health, with a focus on family planning and HIV/AIDS. She brings leadership experience at the global, regional, and country level, including nearly five years as chief of party in Rwanda and more than three years as a senior regional manager based in Bangkok. She has a proven track record in conceptualizing and expanding programs and in organizing and managing teams. A highlight in her career was the launch of the first USAID-supported ART site. As a technical program manager for IntraHealth, she gained significant experience in human resources for health. Murray is a returned Peace Corps volunteer from Senegal and has had in-county professional experience in over 20 countries in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. She holds an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and is fluent in French.
